Velvet Hours is a virtual nu disco project that lives in the hour when the dance floor is warm, the mirrorball is still turning and nobody wants to go home. Muted funk guitars scratching in sixteenths, string sections that swell and fall, octave basslines that bounce under a four-on-the-floor kick, and filters that open like a door to a brighter room. Elegant, sweaty and joyful at the same time.
